CIS Fuel Line Fitting Removal
When sending a WUR or fuel distributor to us for exchange or rebuild, the threaded brass fuel line fittings must be removed prior to shipping the core. Hang on to those fittings if you plan to re-use them!
If we have to remove fuel line fittings, we charge for labor and handling per fitting. Many fittings are over-torqued by over-zealous techs, so we cannot guarantee what condition the fitting will be in after removal.
Do not remove the center piston or pressure regulators from fuel distributors, as those are needed to complete the rebuild and they are part of the core. If in doubt on what to remove and what to leave in, look at the photo of the WUR or Fuel Distributor in our website listing. If still in doubt, contact us before you ship the core.
