Product Description:
Restoration service for YOUR Marelli Ignition Distributor
Send your Marelli S112BX distributor to us for restoration.
This is a restoration service. The Marelli ignition distributor number S112BX is used on Porsche® 911T models with CDI; 1969-71.
When you send your S112BX to us, it will be completely disassembled, media blasted, and polished. All new bushings and new shim kit are installed, along with a new spring package. The restoration includes new cap, rotor, points, and shaft seal.
Your distributor will then be professionally reassembled to operate within Porsche factory specifications. We ensure that vertical and lateral play are within acceptable limits. The rebuilt distributor is tested on our Sun machine, and test results are included in the box. Your restored distributor will arrive ready to install and set timing. We also include a free download of our TSB for Porsche CDI ignition systems.
This is a thorough restoration so we will need your distributor for 4-7 weeks. Turnaround depends on condition of all parts and shop workload. Parts not mentioned in the above paragraph are not replaced as part of this service; for example, shaft, drive gear, body, cap clips, etc. Some cores aren't rebuildable. If we run into a problem we will contact you.
Please send your well packed distributor, with your online order number on the the outside of the box, to:

Very please with the restoration service performed on my Marelli distributor. Great to have its advance curve properly tested & printed out for reference. Be advised this service takes 4-6 weeks to complete but for me it was worth the wait.
