Product Description:
New Programmable 123 Ignition Distributor
Pre-programmed to replace Bosch 0.231.159.008 or Marelli S112.
Professional installation is recommended.
WARNING: re-program required for other than ‘69-71 stock 911T motors.
Run a new distributor on your classic Porsche! This distributor has the design character of the original, but with modern electronics. The 123 distributors have been around for over a decade, but they were challenging to set up properly for the 911 or 914/6. Until now!
Comes pre-loaded with our exclusive programming for your stock engine. Our programs for each year and sub-model were developed and tested by a Porsche-trained mechanic, engine builder, and ignition specialist with 34 years of experience.
This distributor is pre-programmed to replace a Bosch 0.231.159.008 or a Marelli S112, which were factory equipment on 1969-71 Porsche 911T or 914/6 engines. Please note that any changes to the stock programming are made at your own risk.
For modified 911 and 914/6 engines, a qualified, insured mechanic should be employed to adjust the programming to the engine. Incorrect setup or installation can result in severe damage to the engine and distributor.
When properly re-programmed, this distributor is suitable for other 2.0L or 2.2L 911 engines up to 1971. An Apple or Android App allows for wireless adjustment of the ignition curve and provides an electronic dashboard. Range is 500-8K engine RPM. Other key features include rev-counter, anti-theft PIN code, real time tuning, vacuum advance, boost retard, and soft rev limiter.
For vehicles with CDI ignition, use with our 3 Pin CDI Wiring Harness, Early for Pertronix or 123.
As with all electrical products, this item is non-returnable except for manufacturer pre-approved warranty returns. Arrangements for repairs or warranty service must be made directly with the manufacturer.

Aftermarket
Our founders have worked on Porsche cars for decades. They've tried most of our aftermarket products first hand on real cars. Some parts are no longer made by an O.E.M company, or the price difference between genuine and aftermarket has become so large that it makes sense to take the savings. If you have any questions about an aftermarket product, please contact us.
