911 Distributor Rebuild Kit
This kit is for the 1968 Porsche 911L only.
Bosch number 0 231 169 001 should be on your distributor.

This rebuild kit contains weight washers, springs, sliding surface, bushings, various shims to get the up-down play to .01 to .05 of a mm, a brass top shim, shaft pin, seals, hardware, cap, non-RPM limiting rotor, points, condenser, e-clips, and felt dot.

New cap hold-down clips are available for this distributor; please see part number 901.602.965.00. We also have the gear for this distributor available if needed.

This kit is meant for the professional rebuilder with skill and understanding of the distributor function. Having a distributor machine to run up the distributor before installation is a must. An improperly rebuilt distributor can damage or destroy an engine and other components. Partsklassik will not be held responsible for improper use of this product.

Distributor rebuild instructions and/or diagrams are not included with this kit. If you feel you need instructions or lack the necessary tools, please send your distributor in to us for a restoration service.

We don't offer partial kits, but we do have many individual parts for Bosch and Marelli distributors used on Porsche models.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a distributor spring, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
